is there any out of the box 4" lift springs for the fj45lv? that is how much lift I figure I will need to clear 285r16's in the rear fenders.Am I looking at Alcan's or is there any other manufacturer? I am not wild about doing a body lift or extended shckles and have figured out I will need exatly 4" in the spring to clear the fender.
thanks Jason

There is another spring maker in California that speciallizes in desert racing but will custom make a set for any 4x4. I don't remember the name. I had a 4" set made from Alcans and was really happy with it. I used Bilsteins which was the hard part.....I had to figure out the extended/callapse length before ordering them. Good Luck

thanks guys
Alcans is what i was leaning toward but just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something or another maker of lv springs

Be specific on your driving habits and how much wieght you will be running. Also it will help to wiegh the lv before calling them. They will want to know what engine you are running. I'm not sure if just weighing the front portion and the rear to make sure how the wieght is distributed.....just thinking out loud. None the less they have a good idea what the wieght is but helps when you know exactly what it is. I say this cus you could easily end up with a very stiff ride and at the end not a very happy camper.:)

bastid all the rust except the floors ofcourse. so its only guna get heavier.
