Hi, New to the forum,new to LC ownership, just picked up a 99 and was out on the highway the other day and was hoping for another gear at around 70ish, i know i'll be spending most of my time around 80ish. I thought the RPM's were high compared to just about any other vehicle I've owned. What year did they go to a 5 gear and does it make a difference at highway speeds at lowering the RPM's? Thanks for your help.

Go to 33s and split the difference.
The A750F has both a lower 1st and higher 5th. Better acceleration all around.

Considering the 343 has no 5th the 750 better be higher

I'm running lil baby tires. My truck is pretty wound up at 80 mph. Can't wait to get larger rubber.
