Pulled the upper left inspection cover on my '03 Tundra to peek at the timing belt. Going to order the full kit plus a few extras that need to be done and schedule a vacation day next month. Looks pretty good to me?? I'm doing it either way but this is my first time doing a timing belt on the 4.7 and was wondering how the condition pre-swap compared to others.

I pulled an original belt off a 208k 3.4L. It was in good condition. Probably could have gone another 100k ;)
Ive never really pulled a late model Toyota belt that was really that hashed under normal driving conditions.

Just did the belt for a second time at 220K on my 2003 Tundra and it look fine. The water pump was weeping a little though. I used all OEM parts (belt, tensioner, idler, etc).
