What...you don't want to go to the Bucket O'Blood Saloon in VC? There's a very good restaurant there: Cafe Del Rio...and a good BBQ/jerky place too: Virginia City Jerky Co.

Not sure if I'll be here or in Yuba City on Saturday. Hopefully will know by tomorrow.

Thats my back yard, quite literally, I live at the base of the Virginia range. I know all the roads up there.

If we have time I'll show you the scenic route back to reno.

Dan and I will be paired up with the newlyweds in the 40, I went and ruined another ring gear and spiders this time, just got it off the vehicle tonight and did some inspection, wow, what a mess, sas is now priority! no more messing with the ifs, just can't stand up to the torture that I expect it to take.

Oh well...leaving for DV on Thurs. AM and I guess (like every other year Ive gone) Ill have to do "new mod testing" there. hopefully the bumber holds up on the washboard down there. If there is anyplace that things will FAIL its on that.

At the end of the day Shawn & Rusty Dan went to winch Fallon Dan and John out of the mud hole...Mark, myself & Alvaro headed towards VC. Alvaro, Lucas & I headed to the Bucket O'Blood Saloon. Live music (damn good too!)...shots of whiskey...beer chasers...and then on to Cafe Del Rio for Stacked Enchiladas, Carnita's, Guac & of course margeritta's!

Great day, sorry I had to bail. I spent the rest of my afternoon in Lowe's and Home Depot buying more stuff to finish the bathroom.

I think Alvaro should change the name of La Cabra to La Tortuga.

It was kind of funny to look up the canyon and see Alvaro's rig rocking back and forth with two wheels in the air at a time. I almost got stuck in the same spot, I don't know how he got through with his long wheel base.
