3SP Transfer Case Vacuum Shift Conversion (1 Viewer)

Did some searching and did not come up with any conclusive. Has anyone done a conversion on a vacuum shift 3sp transfer case to manual?

I converted mine from vacuum to manual. It was a matter of getting the right parts and bolting them on. So simple, even a..................you get the point.

If it can be done easily while installing the 4 sp tranny to my 3 sp case I'm considering converting the other way: manual back to vacuum shift! I like the retroness of the vac shifter.

I already have the vac shift for the 3sp T-case though I may need some linkage for it?

I agree. Changed mine on the 40. May stay with the vacuum on the 55.

i believe 72 and 73 3 speeds came manual from the factory and that setup will bolt on your current setup try parts wanted or ebay .marks offroad should also have what you need good luck

I've got some of those parts. If you can wait till November I can mail them from Miami. $20 + shipping for whatever I have. For sure I have the nose cone shifter and probably some of that linkage as well.
