3rd Row Seat Removal on a LX700h? (1 Viewer)

Curious if anyone has removed their 3rd row seats on the 700h yet? And if so, was it fairly straight forward or complicated?

We're slated for a 700 F-Sport (if the one we want ever shows up). There was an OT at the dealer today (available), and I peeked at the set up in the back. I'm a bit concerned about a big dog or two being back there with that whole seat/battery combo.

Eight bolts total and one wiring harness plug. Pretty straightforward, but the seat weighs probably close to 80# so I wouldn’t try to remove it solo. I did, but it wasn’t easy.

I’m currently working on a subfloor replacement. Will share once I’m further along.

@Oakleyguy thanks for this. On my '13 GX460 I removed the left 3rd row seat and replaced it with a subwoofer box containing a shallow 13" JLAudio sub. Box, amp, and audio control were all hidden under a false floor. My plan is to remove the entire 3rd row on the LX, with a sub box on one side and a slide out drawer on the other.

Just noticed the 12V battery mounted in the left rear...interesting battery location.​

Last I heard was they would be 2026 models.

I took out my Third Row as well. Not too difficult. I left the frame which the seat was attached to to protect the battery until I sort out how to put in a drawer system which would then cover the battery, Also installed a compressor in what was the foot well of the third row.
