3rd Annual East Stave Lake Cleanup, Lost Creek FSR (Sylvester Road)

Please join the Four Wheel Drive Association of BC on April 20th for our 3rd Annual Cleanup of the Lost Creek FSR system. The cleanup goes from 9 am through 4 pm. We will be meeting at the Davis Lake turnout which is about 3 km past where Sylvester Road turns to gravel.

Last year saw over 102 volunteers remove over 15 tons of garbage from this road system.

Lunch will be served for lunch and Tim Horton's coffee will be available.

I hope to see you there.

Wonder how many tons of that are From the people shooting up
Was up west stave sat we were in a trail and had bullets wizzing past us

I'll be there with the trailer.

On a related note (small thread hijack) there is a cleanup going on this Saturday April 6th on Vedder Mountain. Starts at 10am, where the Majuba Hill entrance to the hill is. This area is under threat of being closed off due to issues of yahooism and garbage dumping. It's private property too, so if the owners get fed up enough they could de-activate the road. Hopefully the user groups put a good face forward to help the cause here too.

Thanks for bringing that cleanup forward, Jason!

That's my only weekend (and 2days total) in town this month. Not sure I can make it.

I'm doing a Rotary conference at the convention centre

I plan to be there with Andrew as well.

Got a bumper install booked that morning. I'll still be there, just a little late.

Is there going to be a spot where some volunteers stay for the day? want to come but if its good weather ill be on the bike, don't want to leave it by itself.

Yep, the marshalling area 3km up Sylvester road has folks there all day. Robert will be there cooking for sure.

Nah, a 14 year old girl would have said:

"OMG! i am so like going like now!"

Add blonde hair n have her chewing gum while twirling her hair and u have a straight up beeeyatch, which I swear is half the girls these days.
