Hi everyone! I plan on attending for at least Thursday, and possibly Friday. Driving up from San Diego.

I’ll be accompanied by a buddy w/ a GX470 and I’ll be there in my Cruiser. I look forward to making some friends and having a blast!

P.S. - is there a HAM radio channel established for that event?

Our club uses frequency 146.535. However when we have some GMRS only radios, we use channel 4 or 462.637. We’ll fix the channel when we meet up.

That picture was taken on the Rubicon Trail where the sliders were put to use to help position the rig.

The Big Bear trails are mild in comparison. I took my stock LC100 to scout the trails and stock XJ Cherokee on some of them in my past life as a Jeeper.

Are there any particular trails you would like to exercise your rig on? The trio of technical trails are Holcomb Creek 4x4, Gold Mountain, and John Bull. I will have my winch working just in case!

We can wheel all day and then some after dark if you wish! Come early so you can help us with the planning. We typically match the trail to the capability of the rigs in attendance. It’s then up to the individual drivers to decide if they want to give their rig a partial or a full workout.

Absolutely.
Any one want to volunteer to lead a trail run? I’d like the hard stuff so will need help with the easy run.
