I have had some luck repairing the actual accessory meter / computer / altimeter. What I have not had luck with is finding a good cover after I dropped one and shattered it. They all seem pretty brittle at this point. I'm talking about this thing:

It occured to me that 3D printing is a viable option. I'm wondering if any of the Prado owners here might also have access to a 3D scanner and be willing to lend a hand.

I've no scanner, but if someone in the area has one and needs the cover to model, I'm game.
Thank you very much. I really appreciate it. I'm working on getting one to a friend with a scanner in the UAE. I will hold your offer as a backup!

Looks like there are 3D scanner apps for smart phones. No experience with 3D scanners or how the smart phone apps would work, but in theory that would mean basically everyone has a 3D scanner?

Not for the faint of heart John but Just Dashes can repair that cover pad to like new condition.

It is not the dash pad but a plastic cover for the binnacle. Mine just shattered. I don't think I even kept the pieces!

Interesting. The one in my FZJ75 has a padded cover in that spot; thus my suggestion. Good luck.
