Tuned Cooling Fan Clutch - https://hiace.parts/products/hiace-tuned-fan-clutch <-- this one

Now that it's in the 90's and humid here, figure it's a good time to work on the Prado. I'm interested in this fan clutch and I reached out to the company, they are not aware of anyone running it on the Prado 1KZ-TE. I did see 1 person on a reddit thread say he's using it on a Prado, but no details.

I'm ok w/ the cost as it seems to be a legit solution, but they don't do returns if it doesn't fit. Alternatively, any other recommendations?

TIA.

Eh, just going to go with a regular fan clutch and the 10-blade fan.
Honestly, that's what I ended up doing. After searching around, I did find a company out West called Red Line Cruisers and they made a modified fan clutch to fit 80-series (Blue), as well as other Toyotas (Green, Pink, etc). I didn't use them, in part, after doing an extensive part number cross-reference, I came to find that the most recent revision fan clutch that fits a KZJ90/95 from '96-'02 is White or Light Grey.

I even tried using a Pink one, thinking that nearly all parts from a Gen 3 4Runner would fit. Turns out the dowel pin to juts out from the face of the water pump where the clutch is mounted to is slightly larger in diameter than what is on the 4Runner. So I had to return it.

I did keep my "old" one that probably didn't need changing, just in case I need a spare.
