3bII OEM turbo manifold interest

Hello guys,

I think I have a lead towards two Toyota OEM 3bII - 14BT turbo exhaust manifolds. The 3bII has a different bolt pattern that makes it impossible to flip the manifold. My intentions with this post is to see if there is any interest on these. The price would be around $370. Let me know...

Oh, Toyota part number for these is: 17141-58020

I'd be interested, as installing a turbo is something I'd like to do next summer. However, my EPC gives the exhaust manifold part number as 17141-56060 for my 1989 3bII. The part number you quote comes up for the 14BT. Any idea if it's the same bolt pattern as for the 3bII?

Hmm, interesting. We probably need to find out whats the difference. I know that my 3bII engine has the same bolt pattern as the 14b... any ideas on how to figure this one out with just the part numbers?

This manifold will not fit on your 3B, this is for a 3BII - a later version of your motor with a different manifold bolt pattern.

No idea whether the 14bt manifold will fit the 3Bii. bj40: you originally posted that this was a manifold for either the 14bt or 3bii. Given that the part numbers don't match, are you confident this is the case?

More info on 3BII turbo manifold

Hello guys,

The reason I mentioned this manifold for 14BT would fit a 3bII is because the bolt pattern of the is the same, but I have yet not seen it in person.

But yesterday I visited my dealership and asked for part # 17141-56060 exhaust manifold for 1989 BJ73 (part number provided by codgerdave) and they told me they can order it for me. IT would take 20 days for it to make it. The downside is the price.

It comes out to $430.10. I really dont know why this big price difference, as the one for the 14B is just $370, however it is a special order that I have to pay 50% in advance and there are no returns, so its just a bit too steep a price to go ahead and give it a try to see if it fits.

But if there is still any interest PM, as I could do it if any of you is interested and can have it sent to the US in early March.

bj40man, we got our wires crossed I think, the part number i quoted is for the stock non-turbo manifold... If someone can confirm that the 14B turbo manifold will fit the 1989 3BII bolt pattern, I'd certainly be interested in ordering one. But as you say, it's a bit expensive to order on the off-chance that it fits without knowing.
