33x10.50 vs 255x85x16

which one is taller, also any body have any pics of the 255 on a 40.
 
High floatation tires (ie 33x10.5r15) always seem to be smaller than the size advertised, whereas LT-metric (255/85r16) are usually pretty dead on for size as I understand it.
 
Tirerack.com provides actual measurements of tire dimensions, e.g. it shows the diameter of the BFG 33x10.50 MT KM2 to be 32.8".
