For years the Cruiser has been in a class of its own. Own parts, own frame, own driveline etc.They have been working towards this for a long time.
“Design rationalization” is the only way to go to keep things modular, interchangeable, and cheap.

I'm going to hit up the Toyota dealers here in Abu Dhabi this weekend to see if they have any in. I'll be sure to video anything I see. But was told last weekend that it would be the "beginning of July" before they had the 300's in stock.
