Any precautionary notes when removing these. I imagine they are held in place with simple vertical clips in channels, but I know with some sill pieces there are horizontally oriented retainers at the ends so that pressure is best applied in either a for or aft direction. Any thoughts? Sorry this is not an exciting topic and thanks in advance.

Are you talking about the silver inlays on the grab handle?

No. The plastic trim between the carpet and the lower door will at the floor.

Ah, no it's vertical clips in channel like you mentioned. You can easy use your fingers and start at the b pillar side. It will just pop right up.
