Genuine Toyota 2LTE/3L bare Cylinder Head for sale.
This was on my Prado for about 90,000kms or so. Thought I had a cracked head, but turned out to be just the headgasket. Unfortunetely for me I'd already dropped $1250+ on a new one. I've had the old head hot tanked and magnefluxed. The machine shop says it has no cracks and is in great shape. The pre-cups are cracked which sounds like it is normal. This head is bare, so the buyer will need to have the valve train transfered from their old head to this one.
This is not the original head that was on the truck. I could tell as I took it off this was a replacement head (cylinders had water pitting from the original head which had clearly cracked really badly, also all studs had marks on them where they'd been transfered from the original to this head). Looks like this head swap had been rushed, which is why the headgasket had failed.
Looking for $400CAD (300USD) obo. I am willing to ship at the buyers expense (I have the Toyota box still from my new head). If you're interested, please PM me, or post here.
