Yeah, i was too lazy to scrape the old paint off, but its really clean on the inside
Its going in a 1983 BJ40 with a 5 speed tranny.
Still tracking down stuff like a starter motos and Power steerting pump.

Hi, very curious where the turbo U-tube from the exhaust outlet to the turbine came from.
Which turbo are you using? What's the turbine A/R?

Hi,
The turbo and U adapter was made by a japanese company called SK Turbo. They used to sell these kits a long time ago, I don't know if they still exist as I got the parts used at a diesel inyeccion shop.
It was the same turbo used in a 3b turbo kit I recently got and was made by the same company. The turbo is a german made KKK. I think its a ct26 but am not sure. Since i got rid of the b motor, I decided to complete the kit with the parts off the 3b turbo kit. I paid about $1000.00 for all the parts , but realize that it was Old stock and they were trying to get rid of it.
The U adapter is made out os cast steel, but can easily be copied. Other than that and the turbo, all the other lines and hoses can easily be bought or made locally.

It looks like the alternator will be a tight squeeze will it still fit in the original position?

Yeah, its kinda tight, but I can get it to work with the original brackets. I'm actually going to use an alternator for Kia And Hyundai which is 90 Amp output and also has the vacuum pump built in.
I'll post some pics when its further along.

The 2H is an IDI diesel. The DI version of the motor is known as 12H.
Both are 3.9 liter displacement.

It's a Kya Hyundai Alternator that comes with vacc pump attached as same as toy alternator .. but with more amps .. factory.
Here I found one from a Galloper ( Hyundai ) in 190.00 USD with 110 amps ..
Ooh, I want a turbo for my 2H.

Clearance issues between turbo and steering box
We will have to add an extension to the turbo adapter to lift it above the exhaust manifold. We might need to move the tranny xmember back a few inches for the fan.
