2h new valve guides install before machining head? (1 Viewer)

I am about to take a used 2h head to the machine shop for resurfacing. Cannot find any cracks after a dye test. I have new valve guides, valves and pre cups.

Should I remove the old valves and install the new valves before taking to the shop or after the head is machined?

No. Have machine shop do it and pressure test it for proper sealing after they install.

Thank Ceylon. I dropped the head off, they shall skim the surface with the pre cups installed, install the valve guides and cut the seats for the valves for under $400aud. Not too bad it seems.
