2F serial number data (1 Viewer)

If you have an original 2F in your 60, please post up your engine serial number, and the month/year of your truck build and the vin if you would. I am trying to complie 2F year data.


The engine serial number is stamped into the block on a little flat area right by the starter motor...



I will be posting this up in the 40-55 section as well.


There are many out here that do not have an original engine in our truck, and it would be nice to know roughly what year the engine is.


Any help with this is appreciated!!!

frame numbers match "128177" from 05/1985 run. the 06/1985 started with 128372

on page a-15 you need your secret decoder ring.
looks like the below frame/engine marked a reference number change (a-15):

frame #1 = engine # ?
frame #052956 around engine #636115 about 09/1982
frame #085470 around engine #787707 about 09/1983
frame # 099857 around engine #848881 about 02/1984
frame # 120682 around engine #862659 about 08/1984
