Im getting ready to install the sniper on my truck. I running inline pump from the back of the truck near the gas tank. Is there a reason why one wouldn't bypass the charcoal canister and just route fuel lines straight to the sniper. Seems like going direct from pump to sniper and then straight return to the tank makes sense. Any help is appreciated

Charcoal canister is for gasoline vapors evaporating from the tank. It’s an emissions component (and gas stench alleviator in your garage).

Correct. And if you use a Corvette style fuel filter you don't need a return from the sniper to the tank.
