2f engine idle problems (1 Viewer)

I have a 82 fj60 with a 2f engine...it cranks and runs fine but after it heats up after driving around awhile it idles erraticly at stops...It doesn't seem excessive only maybe 500 or so rpm but I would like to have a nice steady idle..the engine is very strong with 227523 miles on it, with no rebuilds that I know of. I have checked the vaccum lines and replaced most of them to no improvement

Welcome garsticker...

When this rough idle situation is happening, have you verified that the EGR valve is closed, and not creating a small vacuume leak?
