Hey guys,
The last two days, after warmup my 2F has started to run like it is misfiring and tossing blue smoke. There is no noticable puff of blue on cold start. This all started pretty suddenly. It is desmogged 1975 2F.

I swapped the PCV but didn't go into the hose or intake manifold connection to look for blocks (yet).
Where would you start step by step to figure this out?
Sludge?
Bad rings?
Valve seats?
Pics are of the thingee that vents PCV to manifold.

This happened to me when my rings were going bad. Pull your spark plugs and look for oily residue. In my case #2 cylinder was the culprit and the spark plug would foul during long drives. I'd still check that hose though, oil should not be there.

Blue smoke is oil burning. Too much fuel (carb adjust), not enough air (new air filter), timing and compression (dry the wet) checks, will tell you about rings and valves. Vacuum gauge can help if you are running lean due to bad brake booster or intake/carb gasket
