Looking for a running 2bbl. Aisan carb years 73-77. I don't want one in need of a rebuild.......

HOw do you tell if it is a 73-77??

I have 2 carbs..

I think one is a mid 70's, the other is a 85

They both need rebuilds.

The format goes Y M DD

Y=last digit of year

M= A, B, C,.......etc. through the first 12 letters of the alphabet the letters correspond to the month 1 - 12

DD = day of the month

The info is located on top of the carb. over the float bowl I do believe

I have a 78 that may or may not need a rebuild. Taken off a 78 2F w/ ~130k miles. The guy I got it from said the engine ran well before being pulled for a sbc. I am running no smog so I put my 74 F carb on the 2F to avoid all the emissions crap.

Looking at the top of the carb there is a "0 I 4"
2 barrel

so I guess it is a 70? or either an 80, can you send me a photo of the whole carb.?
