295/65/18 Duratracs?

Went to Discount tire to see what kind of deal they would give me on the 295/65/18 Duratec's? I have 265/70/18 Michelin LTX MS2's with 30k miles on them. My tires tread measured 9/32's on all 4 tires, when new they were 11/32. They offered me $25 per tire trade. The Michelins were $200 each when new. They want $1290 out the door with the tire trade-in. The 295/65/18 Duratec's were around $294 per tire plus mount balance and tax. My Michelins weigh about 44 lbs per tire the Duratec's are 58 lbs per tire so my mpg and suspension wear would suffer. At this point since my rig is a mall cruiser and this upgrade is just for looks can't justify the $1300.
