Is anyone running these with no lift(maybe a torsion bar crank?) and no spacers? I read about the Fuzzs problem with the 305s. Just trying to help my little brother out with some new tires for his mall cruiser.

Seem to be the only 295 option for us 18 inch folks. I'm curious about this as well, but I was thinking 1.5" lift with em. 2.5" is too aggressive for me and stock isn't aggressive enough. I'd be surprised if they fit stock. I'm hoping someone chimes in with 295's and a small lift.

On the helpful side, I think duratracs are too aggressive for a mall cruiser anyway. Why not get street tires and enjoy better handling and gas milage?

wish i could help.

Will they clear the rear part of the fender well ? 295/65/18 are 0.5" taller and wider that 285/65/18.
I cant handle any rubbing.

They do fit!

I can attest to the fact that the 295/65R18 Duratracs fit the hundy stock. I have an '03 LX that I bought a couple of months ago and put these tires on a couple weeks ago. There is no rubbing at all! Well, I get just the slightest bit of rub at full turn, but I rarely ever turn the wheel that far.
My truck is basically stock for the time being. My AHC still works great so I'm riding at stock height most of the time.
I will say, though, I almost wish I had gotten bigger tires, but the next step up to 305s and you would definitely rub at least the UCA. Right now I have about a 1/4" between the inside of my tire and the UCA.
I wish more people rode these shoes and brought that price down. It's a beautiful looking tire and quiet too. Not as quiet as the BFG ATs I had on my 80, but I kinda like that I can hear something telling me that I'm driving a bad-a$$ truck and not some fancy pansy grocery getter.

art - Those look really nice. I would love to see more of a close up, if you could.

I am very interested in some closer pictures and how the ride is. Pictured is my 2006 LX470 new to me since June and it came with the GY SA in stock size. They are OK and will probably get me through the winter here in Colorado Springs, but come next winter I will probably need a new set.

My LX is new to me too. I thought my tires might get me through the winter, but being that I'm going up to the mountains a lot this winter (every winter) and hauling a trailer with two snowmobiles I thought I'd rather be safe than sorry. Well, that was my excuse. I was just dying to get some new, fat tires :grinpimp: So happy I did. I just can't figure out what to do with the spare. It fits in the stock location, but not with my integrated tow hitch installed.

The ride is only slightly more harsh, which I don't really mind, honestly, since I came from an 80 series with 35" BFG ATs. It's still way too soft in my opinion, but at least I can adjust that with the AHC. I think these tires made the truck perfect and I am so happy I took the risk of buying them and hoping they fit

Here are some closer pics, but they are still bad, sorry. I'll try and get some better pics this weekend.

Diff drop required with these larger tires? I've been tempted to go with larger tires but still have warranty on the Land Cruiser (about 50,000 miles of warranty left). Thinking adding the diff drop may void some warranty if I did it.

I don't see why you would need a diff drop. These fit my truck with little rub at stock height (no lift). The tire itself does not change the geometry of the UCA/LCA and CV shaft angle.

I plan on getting some 1.25" spacers to avoid the rubbing in front (back of tire hits the sway bar at full turn) and the tire is ridiculously close to the UCA, although it clears by about 1/4". Also, 100s look bad-A$$ with some wheel spacing :hillbilly:

I think the tires look great on your truck!! I am going to add this size to my list when it's time for new treads....
