285/70/17 BFGs @ Discount Tire

Somebody just tell me what to do here. Discount Tire not only has 10% rebate, but the S rated KO2s show up in the cart with a $140 discount while the Q rated don't, so the S's end up being about $950 out the door installed.

Does that sound right that the S rated C weighs as much as the E? I guess the S's aren't being made anymore? They don't show up on the BFG website.

I don’t know the actual difference. They’re not very clear on BFG’s site. But I can’t see how the S would weigh the same as an E being a four ply versus a six ply. I think it’s a mistake.

Since discount tires deal ends today I would go after the S tires and at least you are qualifying for the 10% rebate. Then call BFG tomorrow and get some clarification on the S, if they discontinued it and the actual specs, weight, etc Vs the C
