250/300 Steering Wheel Upgrade (18 Viewers)

Anyone attempt to replace their pealing 200 steering wheel with a 250 or 300 wheel? Not really interested in the stitch on options. Thanks for any insight!

I purchased a 2016 land cruiser which had some nicks on the steering wheel from the previous user. It wasn't the infamous peeling problem found on the 16-17 wheels, but it appears to be some nicks from a wedding ring on the left hand. I did wrap the original wheel with a loncky steering wheel...

I upgraded to the all leather steering wheel, and so far the new one is holding up much better.

Do you have part number for all leather wheel? Is it thicker? Thanks

It’s not clear to me that bolting on a Prado steering wheel on a 200 is an upgrade. Sounds sacrilegious to me.

I’ve also gone the @Zill route and have been happy with it. I prefer the uniformity of the all leather over the partial wood of the original. The wood always felt icky and grimy now matter how clean I kept it.

It’s in the thread, but it’s the same size as the wood wheel, but the leather appears to be more robust - and most importantly, I’m not worried about this one peeling.

That’s true, but maybe a 300 wheel. Looks closer to a 200 wheel. I prefer the feel of a beefier wheel.
