IT TURNED 250,000 mi yesterday. I didn't get to see it turn  as I had to drive the semi to g-ma's for turkyday.
I did get to see the TuRD turn 50,000mi a week ago. Not sure if its 50k 150k as chevy never thought their vehicles could go over 100,000 mi :flipoff2: so they only put a 99,999.9 mi odometer in their vehicles.

Ok , took me a second to calculate this but I expect to be at 250K in September 2069

Bought my 80 with 66K in '2001 ... it's sitting around 80K now .. but I did a few big trips in that time .. back from Houston .. and a coast run .

TY - With an 80 driven softly , and put away dry .. ;p

It will get some miles when you bring it to Moab in May.

One word ... "flatbread"

TY :D

Quite a coincidence, mine rolled 125,000 on the way home last night. It only took 11 years.

kurt, do you have the startup rattle? have you had it for 250k? if so, guess i should stop loosing sleep over it.

250K!! That's impressive! I sold our 92 last year with 215K on her. Our 97 has 162K right now.

I've got 251000 on my 93 and its still running strong. And it's Dino Green as well. The paint is shot and there is a load humming during accelleration. Other than that i'm good to go. I won't even compete any more milage wise as I now drive my jetta TDI to work. mmmmmm45mpgmmmmm

why is that old GM's only had 99,999.9 odometers? I guess they figure the lust for new cars would keep sending the older ones to the junk yard. or they build them to fall apart after 80k miles. Where as in the rest of the world they build trucks and cars like tools that it would be unacceptable if they fell apart so soon. example; 250,000 mile cruisers.

My '74 Cruiser has a 5 digit odometer. I do not know if it has ~100k or ~200k.

It was certainly not built to fall apart before 100k, relatively unmaintained for probably a decade it ran and drove ok when I bought it two years ago.

People just did not drive as much back then is the only explanation I believe....

 What does 45mpg mean ?

It would be cool to post some pics of your rigs w/mileage. I didn't realize there were so many 200+K mile 80's, really impressive.
Reminds me of that guy with a million miles on his Volvo.

Means he still has some money left in his pocket.............. :flipoff2:

45 miles per gal. 600-800 miles on a tank. And I'm running 20% biodeisel so I even get that slight smell of french fries if I walk by the exhaust. I love my cruisers, 76 and 93, but can't afford to commute at 13mpg. The gas savings alone pays for the car payment.

Highest mileage I've seen is from an ad posted on ebay for a cruiser in the early 300k's. It was a '96 model from a used car dealer, and they even included a (3 year?) warranty on it.

When I was looking for my 80 last year I saw one in Kentucky (a 95) that had 320K on her. They were asking something like 10500 for it!

tltaylor22, you need a diesel conversion for your cruisers. I get 10.5L per 100kms, or for most of you to understand somewhere in the high 20's mpg. like 28 or so. And I got 230k Kms. Too tired to convert that. Runs like a top though! I used to use only mpgs to understand my fuel consumption. but in canada we got the US measurement and a left over Imperial. So between different people diff numbers. Now I just use Liters per 100 kms. good for planning a trip too. just think gallons per one hundred miles. nice simple math. I like.
