I’m not sure if my question will be able to be answered but I have a 24v landcruiser. I have a 12v radio wired up. The converter I have gets hot and I’m assuming it’s because the radio pulls 15amps and the old converter just can’t keep up with it. I’m looking at converters and see isolated and non isolated. Which one do I need? Also would a 24-12vdc 20amp converter be okay for a 15 amp radio?
