Howdy! Rig is 85 minitruck
all original and stock engine with 197000 miles. When engine is cold, it runs fine, as long as I don't let the engine speed down to idle. 
It won't run below about 1200-1500 RPM. I have to keep one foot on the gas when stopping. Once the temp guage gets all the way up to warrm, the idle works fine. My son loaned out our FSM, so I am without a book for now. So far I have checked for broken or disconnected hoses and wires, but they all look OK. Are there temperature sensors or solenoids I can check to trouble shoot this? At the stop lights, people are looking at me like they think I want to race them as I am always rapping the throttle up around 2000 - 2500 to keep it going.
