I need some advice, I will be putting a th350 205 combo in my fj40. I will need to fab a rear mount for this combo. Has any one done this that can give advice so its not trial and error. I want to get it done soon summer you know. Thanks

This drivetrain was used in a lot of GM trucks. The tranny/TC support in these trucks bolts to the bottom of the adapter mating the tranny to TC. Your best solution, IMO, is to go to a salvage yard and pick up one of the original support crossmembers (plentiful and cheap). Aftermarket poly tranny mounts are available for these and are also very common. &nbsp:Depending on how high you want the drivetrain to sit in the frame, you can modify the ends of the GM crossmember support to fit your frame. The image below shows two of the center sections of the GM crossmembers with ends that I added for my Truggy project.
