Important 2023 USPS Shipping Changes and upcoming new USPS.com stuff too ....

- i just got off the live call with my USPS.com small business support commercial solutions REP.

- see below

- if your NOT enrolled in this program you want to be NOW today , it's great and has helped me in more ways then i can count .....

- you have a direct live phone # and Email addy to your dedicated repräsentative , that IS a actual USPS.gov. employee NOT a silly contractor , they care about me , my company and if i succeed , and that matters to me more then i can say for sure .....

- some things you can't put a price tag on and this service is one of them , there is NO cost to sign up , only requirement is your a small business that ships USPS ............

- i ship and use USPS exclusively 99.9% of my daily online store needs , that works for me well

- in 2022 i had ONLY 1 lost package and they found it after 2 weeks , that's SOLID facts here ...

Thanks for that info Matt.😊

@woody 's

vendors info banner i now see atop my desk top monitor reminded me to check in here more often , i hope this meets the sticky thread criteria

because this whole now regional BOXES going away and some unknown Cubic system being replaced as its whatever , is gonna radically transform how

USPS flat rate box system shipping is now approached for fellow vendors .....

i feel negative vibes coming from this INDUSTRYALERT big bad banner poster i was emailed by my small business contact support at USPS ....

i hope im wrong ...

A lot of vendors here won’t care because they don’t use USPS much. We use it a fair amount, but never got into the regional program. I know Sonny at FJ Parts uses it a lot, and I am texting him now to let him know.😉

i thought it over for a METRIC second , and i will make it a point to keep this thread active and up to date real time live ,

it's my duty now , i suppose because it will help other fellow MUD vendors ,

i disagree a bit on the the whole not many land cruiser vendors use USPS , respectfully

sure some do not , but the ones i network with and also have purchased from do a fair amount ....

thanks
matt

We ship a great deal of USPS but like you, never found the regional program much value, we use nearly exclusively Priority Mail.

( The USPS Regional BOX Program A1 A2 and B1 B2 is officially DEAD ! ) ...now

12:01 AM E.S.T.

now im getting agitated at the USPS .gov system ,

i was wondering why theses were not on USPS.com free shipping supplies any longer earlier this month

this was a LAME decision and poor choice by USPS bottom line !

this was a major work horse for us , from 2F / 3F manifold heat shields , to the shipping of my reproduction 60/ 62 combination switches

i have like 4 bundles of 10pcs each remaining , that's it ...

I was under the impression from your initial post that they were discontinuing all of the flat rate boxes. but it appears that now it's only this large game board box, which I didn't even know existed... Yesterday I did have to work through a paypal update that grenaded my stamps.com integration, but after about 90 minutes of tech support was back up and running again. I am continuing to ship out the small and medium flat rate boxes without issue, also without a rate increase.

please re-read the initial post

it was all about the regional flat rate box A and B

, i did not know at the time about the large game board box that came later ...

that's because your outdated old version 4.20 stamps.com software did not know the program is shut down......

I don't think so, the software pulls the rate table from USPS, it's not inside the release version. My rate table is as of 1/22/23, the date of their last rate change. If I was trying to print a label for something that wasn't available, it wouldn't allow the label to print... it pings USPS each time that's when the tracking goes out also.

I am not sure if your kidding around here or not ?

But all regional A1 A2 B1 and B2 options choices are no longer present
In :

- stamps . Com

- Shopify .com

- EBay .com

- none. of the above boxes are available via USPS .com either …

those are concrete facts I observed since 12:01 AM EST Sunday morning …

So combined with the facts above stated directly from usps .com

I posted all above and will continue to post relevant updates …

Kindly
Matt

well maybe A1, A2, etc is different than what I'm using. I just call them medium flat rate boxes, which I continue to ship daily. this one:

the A1 , A2 , B1 , B2 were USPS priority mail Regional Rate boxes , not a Flat Rate box like the Small, Medium, and Large
are, they remain un-affected by the Regional Box system being phased out now completely .

with exception to the LARGE game board box , which is no longer offered by USPS , however you CAN still use it as a LARGE flat rate acceptance while your supplies last . It will be honored in or as a Forever Status per. USPS

i hope this helps explain the changes above a little better :)

.

i have discovered you can fit
qty x 2 small flat rate boxes inside qty x 1 padded priority mail bubble envelope like clock work

my stamp.com padded flat rate cost is
$8.30

1 small flat box is $8.10

more to come ...

OK

......

- the ONLY TRICK is u must insert BOTH boxes at the same time

- they can't be bulging either , must be all plumb level and square ....

- im sure USPS will figure this out one day and DELETE the flat rate padded bubble envelope ?

- BUT its the ONLY Positive angle that i found came out of the whole REGIONAL A and B programs being AXED !

- hope this helps

i use it daily now

ARMOR Plated w/ a bullet proof vest now is GOOD
