So, in 2028, we might be able to import one.

Very nice truck and no chance of it coming to the US market.

Yes, I'm jealous.

I needed a tissue to wipe the drool after looking at that engine. 😁

Interesting they are using the earlier 1vd motor same spec as Aus 2007- 2016 pre dpf v8. Do these run the dpf? Also the single cab 79 still running twin fuel tanks unlike the Aus model only have the rear tank in the single cabs since dpf.

I don't know if it has dpf but what I know is our regulations about emissions isn't strict as Australian/European regulations.

you are buying a glorified bracket. The compressor in itself is not good. After 3 or 4 times, it will go super slow then eventually stop working all together.

I wouldn't relay on it.

I’ve noticed that some have side graphics while others do not. Are the graphics installed by the dealers as an option?

These are done through Toyota's regional office in MENA. They may have multiple suppliers for the same product type. Some are done through dealerships.

All of them are low quality item that just checks the box of (having an on board compressor).

Typically, my customers replace them after 10 or less uses.

They are installed on the J200 series, most J7x series and some of the J250 that is now showing up in the GCC market.

Stick to ARB and save yourself the headache.
