I went from a 22 4runner TRD Pro to an LC 250 FE. Originally, I had planned on keeping the 4Runner for awhile but came across an LC sitting on a lot that was already sold and I just had to have one. After some searching, I finally came across a blue one that was in transit for delivery about 150 miles away. I had both the 4Runner and LC for about a month before I finally sold it. The LC is an upgrade in many ways but all the tech in a daily driver can be overwhelming at first. I haven't had any issues with it other than what seems to be a few software glitches with the infotainment system on occasion. Overall I am happy with it but would have liked to keep the 4runner too if I had the room for it. My primary concern was and still is reliability of the new hybrid platform. I usually don't keep cars for too long so it may be a non issue for me. The 5th gen 4runner will forever be a reliable vehicle and the used market for them is going to explode here in the next year or so. If you really want an LC, it may be worth waiting a little while longer so you can get the most money for the 4runner and Toyota can resolve some of the issues people have experienced with the LC.
