I just noticed that is seems to pump out blue smoke for a few seconds on start up. I have not noticed this before. has this happened to anyone? 2021 with 51k miles on it

My 2012 5.7 PCV valve was plugged at 103K miles - I've heard this happening to other, lower mileage 5.7s as well. The PCV valve is easy and cheap to inspect / replace .

I'd suggest checking out the PCV valve before doing much else. If oil level drops considerably between oil changes, trade it in. Other than that...RUN IT!

My 2014 Tundra used to do that. But only after a lot of rain. It was more white smoke though. I believe it was condensation in the exhaust. I sold it at 150K without issue. Now have a 2020 Sequoia. No smoke yet.

It's strange that I seen this post Monday and then sat in line to get coffee Tuesday behind and brand new TRD PRO sequoia and it was putting out blue smoke. It didn't smell like burning oil though. I was surprised, only new car I've seen do that was my Altima many years ago....that thing was gas hybrid...it burned gasoline and oil. It's what drove me to Toyota and I haven't looked back.

Wife's 2022 TRD PRO does it occasionally, even when it was brand new. My 2019 Tundra does it, too. Oil comes from PCV or drips down the valve stems. A little bit of oil should not be concerning.

I replaced PCV valve on Tundra recently, at 47k miles. It was like new. Observed a lot of oil in PCV system, though.
