Hi all! New to the forum and just thought I'd say hullo. Working on my new-to-me Tree bit by bit. Purchased in Feb and so far I've just gotten some little things done:
New skid plates
Replaced interior lights with LEDs
Removed chrome strips
Updated to TRD grille (color-matched)

I'm still (im)patiently awaiting my color matching door handles and mirror caps. Maybe by Christmas?

Next up are wheels and, ultimately, new front and rear bumpers.

Reminds me I should go take some better glamor shots. 🙃

I’ve been wanting a 200 series LC for so long but my Sequoia does everything I need it to and I love all the room. I’ve decided to just get my wife the GX 550 in a few years and keep my Sequoia! The Sequoia is a great vehicle!

We picked up a 2012 Limited 4x a few months back and it’s such a solid vehicle.

I've been a huge Sequoia fan since I got my 2008. It was hard to part with it but not having it be 4WD was really an issue when I'd head west. My 2018 was too good of a deal to pass up - everything I wanted: 4x4, Limited, less than 50k miles.

Entune and the highway tires were really the only issues and we all know how easy those are to fix. New shoes on Tuesday!

What size are you going with? I really wanted to go with a 2.5 in on 35s but the wife didn’t want this one to be “masculine” after our GX on 35s lol.
Running factory size Pathfinder ATs currently.

This came stock with 20"s and I can't tell you how deeply offended I am by them. My 05 4Runner has stock wheels, they're silver and I couldn't care less. I think they look fine. But these Sequoia wheels? I just... It makes me cringe, I wish I knew why.

I had a LOT of help with a local offroad guy here in town. I chose 18s, as that's what my 08 Sequoia has/had and I think that should be stock on all of them. I went with Method 316 for those.

As for tires... Nitto Recon Grapplers 275/55. I'll be first to admit, I was totally out of my element here. I did some research prior but felt confident in my local guy to help me pick something based on needs and look. I didn't mind a little more aggressive/"manly" look. I might be going a little more in on this because my 4Runner is essentially stock.😜

I'll update my post when I have proper pictures.

You and I both. It's just unnatural. I think it's the idea that offroad vehicles...with a few exceptions...should never have BroDozer wheels.

4x4s with big shiny wheels are disgusting. If you want a pavement princess with big blingy wheels get a low rider.

If you're rolling around town in a 4x4 with 20" + wheels you'd better be in a Unimog or an old surplus military truck; otherwise, you just look like a poser.

Today I learned "BroDozer," so thanks. 🚜

I just don't understand the practice of big wheels. If you're 4x4, you can't have this skinny tires... I chanced it and went west after new suspension and my neighbors were constantly fretting after seeing the new ride, "Don't get a flat," "Call if you pop a tire," "You sure you have everything if it does go flat?"

Talk about embarrassing...

Happy to be able to bolster your lexicon.

I thought BroDozer was a common term. What else would you call a blingy truck with a lot of lift with giant wheels wrapped in rubber bands with a gym bro wearing a flat billed hat and pit vipers driving it?

By the way, Welcome to the forum @RanchLady7

And @dezahp

It seems we've forgotten our manners.

So!? Tires and wheels?
It would be nice if the forum would let me edit my original post... Now my door handles should be here soon, so I thought I'd wait. 😁
