I have been trying to find the definitive answer as to whether the entire rocker panel from 2018 LC will fit a 2018 LX570. I dislike the side step and body molding on the LX570 especially since I don't use it while getting in and out. I know that on the earlier (pre 2016 LX570) that the rocker panels appear to be interchangeable but there appears to be a substantial difference between the 2016+ LX570 and the LC. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

See the video on this page. It appears to fit fine.

Thanks for the video. I have had some email conversations with Slee and I really like their equipment. I am just trying to get away from anything that sticks out (like a step). I would love a slider that fits close to the rocker panel.

I wasn't suggesting getting the step (i mean, get them if you want them because they are nice), but what i was pointing out is that's a 2016+ LX570 in the video and it clearly has a LC rocker cover installed.

See this photo from the ad to see that's it's for sure a LX

Thanks again, this helps alot. Obviously it has been done before. I think I need to dig a bit deeper.

Where is the substantial difference you mention in the original post?

I’d imagine the mud flaps and possibly wheel liners are different but these don’t matter for a slider install. In your case it would just mean sourcing a few more parts.

What I am considering "substantial difference" is the style of the rocker panel/mud flap/running board-step on the LX vs the LC. Apparently the folks at Slee were able to swap out LC parts on the 16+LX and in my opinion, the swap would make it much easier to get in and out of.

After watching the entire video prepared by Slee concerning their sliders on a 2016+ LX570, I dove into the toyota parts schematics and it looks like the LC rocker panels even come painted. I am going to line out all the parts and hopefully my car won't look to weird since the front and rear panels come down so low.

Any update on how it turned out?
I had one side on and it was just what I wanted EXCEPT I didn't take the AHC into account. The lines were too low so I put the running boards back on. With sliders the LC rockers are just the ticket. I might get sliders some time but I am on the fence.
