Hey everybody, about to take delivery on a 2017 Cruiser next week. Here is what I have come up with for my suspension, wheels, tires set up. Looking for any feedback. My goals are close to 3" lift, 70% on road, 30% play (including AZ, CA, CO trails, overland, camping). Stock bumpers for now. Looking for the Kreiten/Markuson look.

ARB BP51 set up with ABR 2721 medium duty coils, SPC UCAs.

Method Rooster 18x9, 18 offset (I'm being told mid-December back order) :(

Either 285/70 vs 285/65 tires.

Thoughts on the tire sizes? Will I need to buy new heavy coils front and rear when I upgrade to ARB Sahara bar (no winch) and possibly Slee vs Kaymar rear bars?

Thanks.

Congrats, you'll love it.

Get an opinion from your vendor about running medium springs (esp in the front) without more weight. It may not matter with the BP51, though.

You may need to do some wheel well trimming with wheels with that offset. Perhaps even a smidgeon of the front bumper.

I think that setup will work, (Would be very similar to my setup) might need some tweaking and trimming depending on what tire size ya go with. If ya roll the 285/70's with a 18x9 wheel with 18mm offset you are gonna be doing some trimming like Indycole said. In fact depending on how much lift you can get out of those BP51's you may need to add the front Toyota spacers for a bit of extra clearance(but if memory serves me I think Slee said not to run them with that lift, no idea why though!?!?).

Can you remind me which suspension system you did?

Just the standard OME with 2" lift along with the UCAs. I love it off-road but it's a little stiff on road (especially terrible Bay Area roads). I remain intrigued with the idea of the BP-51s.
