so i had my 2017 LC in for its recommended service (15k miles in one year)
They called me stating that i may need front brakes (not surprising for a toyota, my old 2011 lexus GX needed them every 12k or so) as the pad inspection advise the front drivers side is 4mm. Its under Toyota care, so I said no problem, have at it.
They called back an hour later, and said that only the outside drivers side pad was 4mm, the rest were ok. This caused them some concern as the pistons in the caliper are bad!
Parts are scarce, they are a huge dealer and didn’t have/couldn’t get they parts for a few days..
Its been a few days at the dealer because the pads were on backorder, so ive been stuck with a RAV4 hybrid ....
Has anyone else had this issue?
