Will chronicle the build as I get parts coming in.

2017 TRD Off-Road

What has happened so far:
Toytec 3" Lift (off 2015 Runner I had)
TRD wheels with 275 KO2's (off 2015 Runner I had)
Metal Tech Sliders (off 2015 Runner I had)

Here's what I have on order so far:
4X4 Labs front bumper
RCI skid plates (front skid, tranny & transfer)
RCI A-Arm skids (will be exposed with new bumper)
Winch
BajaRack (behind sunroof to rear)
ARB compressor (received today)

Still deciding on ARB compressor mount and washer relocation. Luke (4X4 Labs) is prototyping an aluminum bottle into his bumper and has compressor mount on passenger firewall already offered. This is the way I want to go but if it doesn't pan out then: Slee compressor mount on driver firewall and Shrockworks aluminum washer on passenger firewall. With either setup I should be able to get Shrockworks dual battery tray setup on the passenger side at the front. This should all happen before the first of the year with the lead times I was given.

Down the road when I can get some $$$ I will get a 4X4 Labs rear bumper and front ARB locker.

Cool stuff. Will you drive it like you drove your 80?

I intend to. 80 got me through the Rubicon and now it's just snow wheeling, Sourdough, shooting runs and camping. Not expecting to get too crazy.

More parts rolled in. Should be putting on the skid plates no later than Friday. Winch has to wait for the bumper obviously.

6-8 lead time for bumper and rack. Still waiting to see if Luke will build the washer relocate into the bumper and if so will run his compressor mount. If not I will run Slee's compressor mount and Shrockworks new resovoir. Hoping to get everything within the next 2 weeks and get it built.

Well with the sale of the 80 I got the funds I needed to build it the way I wanted without compromise. Will see how happy I am with it once it's all done. So far no regrets on the 80 just relief from pending projects I had for it that I don't have to worry about any more.

I have been enjoying it so far and will really find out this winter now that it's the wheeling rig!

Looks like early January for bumper, which means winch install, compressor install, washer relocate and dual battery setup. Hopefully the new rack comes in this month though!

I just dropped mine off at MetalTech for one of their new bumpers. Look for a product release soon!

Front or rear or both? Mark has some pretty cool stuff.
