Had Mudrak install a 50mm OME lift not long after I bought the rig years ago.
Without re-gearing it performed like an anchor and parachute was also installed.
De-lifting due to decrepit old age(mine) and performance .
Have the opportunity to score some nearly stock springs 3/4" over stock.
I can live with that, I think.

QUESTION: Will the decrease in spring height to 3/4' over stock return my LC to original performance?
Read: will this eliminate the anchor and parachute that came with the 2" OME lift?
Appreciate the input.

are they ever not a brick/anchor? :flipoff2:
I've only had this one lifted and it certainly de-rated the up hill power.
It's a nice rig to travel in but a pain in the ass going up hills.
Like i'm driving a log truck so dang slow.
Hoping there's no diff between the power at stock height and the 3/4" taller springs.
Thoughts?

Been there, done that.
OEM tire size is 275/70R16.
Bought it with 265's and it now has 285's .
The 265's weren't much better than the 285's on the hills

My old gasser 80's seemed to do well on hills. Stock height on 33's. Way better than a 3fe or 2F. I thought the handling was decent as well, definitely better than the OME 2+ inch and 35's.

Tires & gears are going to have the most noticeable impact from a drivability aspect, from my own experience. What gear ratio do you have?
Stock gears.
I'm reverting to stock height.
No longer need or want the added lift.

Scored some stockish height OME springs from Mudrak a few weeks ago.
Now onto the remaining components.
