Animal strikes are one of the reasons I am considering an after-market bumper. I’m really impressed with how well that held up to a deer strike at that speed.
Glad you came out safe and sound.

My opinion, looks like a relatively easy adapt to any of the common bull bars. Further, you could consider a 2016+ TLC bar as the new gen LX570 has similar (narrower) lights. For example, the 2016+ Ironman bar, or as pictured earlier in the thread, the ARB bar, or a TJM.

The reason I'm not thinking a Dissent or Metaltech 4x4 is that the 'lip' at the bumper is different TLC to LX570, and the Oz based bull bars have a wide shelf here. Of course it requires some recessing, but probably looks better overall than a more custom fit that overhangs.

Another option, the ARB mounting brackets are available separately. From there any fab shop could build you a custom. Maybe look around for quotes from local shops? Given that ARB has already done the fit work on the mounts, this might take only 20 hours to build the rest on top of those.

The depth of the 2016+ grill—the distance between plastic and radiator / frame horns is really the only difference. The mechanical mounting wont be an issue - its just how much cutting you have to do. As grinchy pointed out there will be quite a bit of overlap of grill and the lip of the bumper. If you notice the build from @Chrisleduc1 they even had to make some vertical cuts in the spindle of the grill to make clearance for the uprights of the bullbar. A bumper-only options like Dissent, CBI, or ARB safari wouldn't have these issues.

That being said I think the bullbar on Chris's truck looks incredible and would totally be worth the surgery require on the bumper skin. But thats a personal preference.

Thanks. It's actually a 2013, but I am pretty sure it will fit on 16. I would confirm with Dissent though. They are also developing a beefier version, but I have been really happy with mine. It is (relatively) lightweight, has amazing clearance, and is incredibly well built. Here is a more recent shot of the front:
Do you mind if I ask how the sensors and lights matched up or if you had to do some modification? Was reading the mountain goat build about there being more parking sensors and the lights being different.

All of the stock sensors fit and work fine. The positioning has a little flexibility. No mods on the lights.

Are there anyone fitted ARB Summit Sahara bumper on 2013-2015 LX570?

The CBI Hybrid is or will be an option and I thought that the LC 200 ARB bumper Wanderlust Overland fitted to a 2016+ LX turned out great. It's a custom fit but they proved that it can work.

This is one of the better 2016+ bumpers I have seen. Most look pretty awkward.

Does anyone know if the parking sensors and all that jazz will work or are they different enough from the LC that it wont?

FWIW I installed the Ironman front bumper on my 2013 LX570. It was a pretty clean install as the top plate of the bumper is completely flat and the vertical supports for the bull bar sit far forward, and the rubber bumpers don't go all the way back so there is no extra trimming around curved surfaces required. Just one straight line right across the front, and then the angle down on the fenders.

I have a 2017 now and I am considering going the Ironman route again as it looks like it will be a similarly straight forward and clean install on the 2016+ facelift models.

Why doesn't this exist?

I've seen this bumper on several threads, but as this thread was indicating bumpers for 2016+ I was wondering if anyone had further insight as to why we haven't seen a single one of the @sleeoffroad products grace the front of the newer model LX570. I mean from a practical standpoint I get it - small market, convince someone to let their truck go under the knife if it even works out, etc. But it seems to match the energy of the newer updated look better than others I've seen.

From what I understand the nose of the updated fascia is perhaps a couple of inches longer which I can imagine creates interference with the light bar. This increase in length can be seen when comparing pictures of the older and newer models on the Dissent bumpers, but it doesn't look like much.

Not sure how the wings line up along the fender but after seeing the ARB Sahara Bar mounted up to it in their video I can't imagine there being much difference.

This is all conjecture of course and I don't even own a 200 - but in my search to get a 570 I'm finding myself more and more attracted to the 2016+ which I still plan on building out with what I can, bumper being the main part.

I think the ARB Sahara looks too pedestrian for the 2016+ LX.
I think the Dissent looks too busy and not clean enough.

Sorry, ramblings

The bolt up points on the lx are the same, but the lx ‘fascia’ is roughly 2” farther forward, at least on the gen1, and I suspect gen 2 and 3.
A Slee bumper will definitely bolt up. How it interacts with the fascia is where the challenge will be. There is a bar mid grill between the headlights, I had to relocate mine back, I suspect similar for the Slee.

Like anything, where there is a will there is a way. If you can model and 3d print your own grill after, or make a fiberglass grill, you’re golden.
