It's been a while since I posted here. GXOR Dan Kunz recommended posting my build thread here. Bought my certified used stock 2015 GX460 at Longo Lexus in 2018. Started chopping and modifying within a week and haven't stopped since. I like dry rocky trail, hate mud! Done a lot of trail runs. Hitting Rocky Gap in Vegas next and will attend Texas Toyota Jamboree in May for.the first time. The latest addition is McQueen prototype wide body drone fenders and rear fender flares - first for 460 models. Below is a list of unsorted mods over the years that I can remember. Missing is the 4.88 Revolutions Gear and ARB rear and front lockers upgrades and other minor stuf. Went through around 3 other wheel sets and at least 5 tire sets. Currently on 35 Patagonia. Suspension upgrades, repairs, and maintenance are done by Miyaki Motorsports in SoCal. The front and rear metal bumpers, rock sliders, and roof rack are installed by me: AKA my infamous Parking Garage Project threads on GXOR. IG @GX4OR. Kal Lee on GXOR.

Awesome build! Can you provide any details about ditching KDSS and adding a front sway bar? Did you have to weld in another fixed arm to attach the sway bar to?

Awesome looking rig!
Do the flares allow larger diameter tires or just cover the extra width of either a wider offset wheel or wider tire? Do you have rubbing at all, lock-to-lock, stuffed, etc.?

I'm running (almost) 35's (315/70R17) now and have the slightest rubbing at lock-to-lock only because these 315/70R17's are a wee bit wider than the 275/75R17's I had before. I've also done all the usual for rubbing: flattened the pinch welds, BMC, had an alignment with caster moved forward, etc.
If decide to keep the 315's I may want to swap out to a more positive offset rim to push the tires a little further away from the frame and U/LCA's.
I'd be nice if they also open up the diameter of the wheel well also to give a little more room for stuffing the tires.

Can you post a link of the fender manufacturer here and in the Guide to GX 460 Builds and Aftermarket Products ?
Thanks!
