Hi all,
I got an LX 2013 with most of the options. One that is missing is the remote start. I mentioned it here because it might be related to Enform functionality.
I saw Enform web page and it looks like more for the newer trucks than mine.
It is a paid service so I would like to find out what it does before subscribing.

The question for you: what does Enform do for a 2013? Is there any value on it? I already have road side assistance paid through other providers.
Do I need it for any of the programming (e.g. navigation software and maps update, gracenote update, radio software, etc.)?
I went to the https://securedp.lexus.com/download-app/downloads but that is said has updates for 2014 and up trucks.

Thanks

Remote start was a Port installed option, unrelated to the infortainment system/enform. I have a 2013 LX with remote start though I have never used it other than to test it.

Only thing that still works in Enform is pushing saved destinations to the stock navigation once your phone is synced. This way you avoid typing on the outdated navigation. Same goes for your stock prices. Other than that, it is useless because your smartphone does all that and more. There is the voice assistance with real person you have to pay to use. In my opinion, it is a useless feature with today's tech.

Thank you. For now I can't even try it as the ownership on Lexus backend has not been undated. Not having to type might be interesting but not sure I want to pay the subscription just for that, and not sure how up to date are the maps. My maps are very old (never been updated) and I have to see how to update them and when was the last version made available.

Yearly map updates at Lexus dealership cost about $130 if not more. I have not updated mine since 2013 since I use my smartphone as primary voice assistant and navigation.

I have a 2013 LX I’ve had since new. Enform never really did anything meaningful. I never had it beyond the free trial.
