The Toyota rep onsite at the 2012 Dallas Auto Show said this was the first show where the 2013 Land Cruiser was "opened up for viewing" because it is now a released model instead of a prototype. I thought you might like to see some photos. All the photos are at my online gallery

I am afraid I am officially priced out of the LC market now, my '05 (which I am still very happy with) is going to need to last a long, long time!

Why did they unscrew the shift knob and volume control?

I would be happy to take one just like that.

Callin it like I see it. I don't see 80K worth of truck there. I see a ton of hard plastics and standard interior trim you can get on a dodge durango. not impressed with the 200 series at all. They need to cut the price in half and get back to basics.

I was excited to see the updated LC200, it was mainly the only reason I went to the show. For what its worth, I wasn't crazy about the new front bumper and grill. However the new interior leather is significantly nicer than the current model. I feel like the the previous model has more of a rugged look, and the use of chrome throughout the new edition didn't help. It sure would be nice if Toyota allowed for more options in designing your Cruiser. Regardless still a great truck, just needs a supercharger! Figured I'd attach a pic.

GReat pictures. Just a heads up, the 2013 info is up on toyota.com. Finally. And its a real site, with actual photos unlike the previous Australian outback version that was difficult to navigate and find non dirty pictures of the LC.

I wonder if Toyota will offer a software upgrade for the new Nav system?

thanks for the web update and user photos. As it is displayed at other shows, maybe someone can do what I forgot - slide the camera underneath and see what build changes may have occurred. The nav system is supposed to be all new (no more DVD) but they would not power the LC up for me to see it.

That is a whole lot of cheddar for that thing!
