Hi,

New to the forum but hoping I can get a quick question answered.

I am building some drawers for my 2011 GX460 that has the sepia (Brownish?) interior. I am hoping to try and match the existing carpet/interior as best as possible, but I am unsure of the color. Has anyone found a color of marine or automotive carpet that matches so I can cover the drawers with something as close as possible?

Thanks!

It isn’t black?
No, it is this color.

I have the same color scheme. Just a heads up, the WeatherTech floor mats in brown match almost perfectly!
Here's a photo off my build thread of the floor mat installed. The best part is I can fit the factory floor mats AND hook them in over the WeatherTech mats.
That way, if we're ever in a muddy/messy situation I can just take off the top factory Lexus carpet and the WeatherTechs will right there for the muck!
But back to your OP, I've previously on other vehicles just when to the local box hardware stores and looked at their indoor/outdoor carpet and find the closest match. Often they have swatches to give or sell for a couple bucks.
You also go to a carpet store and do the same thing.
Anything close to a coco brown should match, or be very close.

Forgot to add a photo... Not a great photo, but something off my build thread that show the colors. FYI, that's my HAM radio I'm installing down there. I cover that on page 3 of my build thread: Builds - R2M 2013 GX460 Overland Build - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/r2m-2013-gx460-overland-build.1104719/page-3
