BILGEWATER-where is that?
Saturday going to meet in Reading and travel pavement to Barnard and hit the class 4's to the Long Trail brewery for lunch then down through Reading

Really looking forward to this weekend! I expect to be rolling into the campground early evening Friday. We are on site 7 at Wilgus.

Any idea how many other trucks/people are attending? Where are we meeting in Reading?

Scott

Saturday meeting spot for you folks at Wilgus or south of there is at Downer's Four-Corners at 8:30am. There is a big gas station right there to meet at and Gary will lead you up from there. For anyone closer to the Woodstock area we can meet right on the Woodstock Green a bit before 9am. We have to drive a bit to these trails and Gary has it all timed out so we hit the Long Trail Brewery around lunchtime. ;)

Downer's Corner Store, VT - Google Maps

I think Sunday we'll just meet at Wilgus as it's not far from Claremont.

What will be happening in the Oct. time frame?

Yankee Toys Fall Gathering 2010 Oct. 1-3

Its that time of year again to prepare for the Yankee Toys Fall Gathering! We are excited to once again host you here in beautiful New Hampshire for a weekend of camping and offroading with your fellow Toyota 4x4 owners.

We will be staying at "Gretchen's" in Hancock, NH, all trail runs will depart from there and the Saturday BBQ raffle will be held there as well. Sites will be first-come-first served and you can claim your site when you arrive. Due to the wide open nature of Gretchen's, we cannot set aside a specific site for you ahead of time. We reserve the whole campground for the Club, so there will be plenty of room.

Registration Closes Monday 9/20

You must Pre-Register for the Friday and Saturday Trail Runs. Sunday trail runs will be first come-first served and will be half day runs.

You MUST be a Yankee Toys member to participate. You can join or renew your membership on the form.

ALL Dogs MUST be on a leash at ALL times.

Absolutely NO alcoholic beverages on the trail.

Wow! Gorgeous day of trail riding in the Vermont woods today, great scenery, fun trails, a few breaks, but a great time had by all.

Big thanks to Gary for leading us, and thanks to Scott and Brook for putting up with me jabbering in their backseat all day. ;)

And the pics are where?!

We had a GREAT time with a good variety of trucks and an excellent guide in Gary. I found it amazing how many great Class 4 roads there were in that area of VT.

As for the campground, Wilgus was a very nice and clean place to stay and I would definitely recommend to anyone.
A few pics and I'll try to upload a few more.

A lot of fun for us even after the incident...

As the photo shows, Adrienne got her first tree but I'm not sure it counted as she used the bumper...

Thanks to the intrepid Gary, we spent our triple A wait time at the Long Trail Pub- which doesn't totally suck IYKWIM!

Great time, thanks to the trail leaders for putting the trip together.
