Up for sale is my personal Toyota 4Runner. Not a dealer, not a flipper. This truck is fantastic. I am the third owner. 2nd owner bought it CPO and it lived in Long Island until my purchase in May 2021. He had it dealer serviced until the CPO warranty ran out. It needs nothing and operates as designed. I never took it offroad. I never used the Trail Edition's Crawl Control, rear differential lock, and Multi Terrain Management systems, other than to verify they work. These systems are shared with the TRD Pro and TRD Offroad, as is the mechanical 4WD engagement lever. No KDSS. No navigation.
Carfax shows one rear end collision. The rear tailgate, and bumper were replaced.
The frame is clean without any major rust. I passed on many examples before deciding on this one, due to corrosion issues. It was coated with Fluid Film as soon as I purchased it, as a rust preventative.
Since my ownership, it has been maintained by my father, a Toyota Master Technician, at Turnersville Toyota. A few things since my ownership have been, replacement of the transfer case fluid, fluid in both differentials, One TPMS sensor, cabin and engine air filters, spark plugs, front brake pads, resurfaced brake rotors, one new front brake caliper, alignment, front axle seal, tire rebalance, oil change ever 5k miles. Synthetic only. AC, Heat, Power Steering, Cruise Control, "Party Mode" 4WD all work flawlessly
The only modifications are:
- BFGoodrich K02 tires in stock 265/70r17 size with 2021 date codes and good tread
- Bilstein 5100's installed 12/21, set to 0.85" front, stock rear. Aligned afterwards
- OEM Toyota 2014-2022 4Runner rear tail lights. Not aftermarket.
- Wheels have been powder coated black by the previous owner
I have:
- Original roof rack cross bars
- AVS hood bug deflector that came on it when purchased.
Exterior condition shows minor dents and scratches, one moderate dent on the front bumper. (Pictured). I've cleaned it regularly with the two bucket method. Recently clayed and CMX waxed it prior to taking the pictures attached. Would benefit from a paint correction.
Interior condition is good, with minor wear and tear. Was a family vehicle, and house project vehicle prior to my ownership, wet vacuumed the whole interior, including the headliner. Rear cargo plastics show wear, but no cracks.
Rare example. One of less than 15,000 2010-2013 5th Gen 4Runner Trail Editions. Salsa Red Pearl being the 2nd rarest color other than Shoreline Blue for this trim.
