Thanks for all of the replies and offers.
Wit the snow pack we have now it looks like our whole schedule of runs is getting pushed out so I don't know if this will happen at all for us.

I assume the trail head is in or near OBrien?
We did a back road trip last year that took us from north of Weed through Happy Camp and Obrien. IIRC we could find plenty of camping along that route if we can make it.

I'm planning on it. What is the exact plan? Are we running in Saturday and staying then coming out Sunday like last time or we trying to make a day trip out of it?

Got it now, helps to read all the pages of the thread. I've been off here for a while.

 :D good to hear from ya G.

Im in to.

Ive been looking for a trailer, to help with the clean up, but no luck so far.
however I do have a chainsaw, I will add it to my junk.

Good deal Al! I don't think we'll find enough junk to need a trailer, but a chain saw will come in handy I'm sure!

I'm so in! Prolly be driving Bronco though, so please don't run me off when you see it pull up.

Don't worry, there are plenty of places for us to push it over a cliff when it breaks down out there. :hillbilly:

Hey,
Sorry I have to back out of the Pre Run, was looking forward to it.
Conflict with annual family get together.
Be sure to pickup any and all jeep parts found along the trail:grinpimp:

Meet Sat morning and run the trail in? Or are we bombing in Fri night and running trail out on Sat? Just some thoughts.

OK, so its 5 days away..... Lets set some HARD PLANS!!

I was just thinking about this earlier.

Most likely as early as possible. I'm hoping we can meet up in GP around 9, O'Brien no later than 10. Considering it's a good 5-6 hours on the trail even without stopping to clean it up, we need to get started pretty dang early to make sure we have enough time.

No one objected to that, so that's my plan.

Central Point Pilot: 8 AM
Grants Pass DQ: 9 AM
O'Brien Store: 10 AM

What do we need and What is everyone bringing for clean up? I have A small Husky chain saw (14in bar), and a few shovel's, have more S*&^ but dont know what we might need...

Fri or Sat?

Saturday, if anyone's confused. ;)

I'm still tempted to go in on Friday, but that's mostly so I have an excuse not to come out and work on Sat.

Looks like my 16yr old daughter & I will be joining you. I'll have a chainsaw and gloves. We're departing from you guys at the Sourdough saddle and returning home Sat eve. (she has other commitments for Sun) See you at the O'Brien Store @ 10 on Sat morning :hillbilly:
