2010 LX 570. The stereo stops after 30 seconds of play. (1 Viewer)

After each restart, I get about 30 seconds of play and then, with a little pop, it stops. All sounds, including ac adjustments, stop as well. It's headed to the dealer Monday but I'd love a little knowledge before I get there. A lot of post point to the amp under the driver's seat. I don't see that there is one. Any help would be appreciated.

With the ML system, it's under the carpet. It's common to need to clean or replace the fans in it. Do you have the ML or standard stereo? I think the non-ML still has the amp, it's just different. But I could be wrong on that.

Did it rain recently/car go through a fair amount of water?

I had something very similar happen, the radio volume would just cut out after a minute or so. I went through a lot of troubleshooting w/ the amplifier - cleaning and replacing the fan, but it turned out to be the radio unit itself. I suspect too much moisture from a previously broken recirc door compromised the radio.

For a 2009 LX with ML, the LS part number 86120-50F10 with face plate P6501 has been working for about a year, using the advice here: LX570 Audio/Electrical Gremlins - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/lx570-audio-electrical-gremlins.959977/page-2

For the LS460 '10-12, I only see ML listings on eBay: 86120-50P90. Without ML, you could try 86120-50F00 for '07-09, with one listing specifying it for '07-12.
