MScruiser, thanks for the offer to go look at the one at Herrin-Gear. I will let you know if we need you to do that. Let us know about the green one in TX, I hope it goes your way. CG, good info on the 2008-2010, thank you. It may drive me towards an 11 or newer as well. I have the patience but I'm not sure how much more my wife has. Ha. I will check out the cruiser/bruiser thread again regarding interior durability and keep on searching.

It has been for sale for quite a while...I am a little intersted myself, but maybe more concerned than anything...

The dealer looks pretty dodgy.

I have not heard back from the TX dealership. Guess they aren't interested. :(

EDIT: I contacted the dealer about the 08 in CA. By looking at the carfax, it appears to have been repaired after an accident in 2012. Oddly, it spent most of its life in Matarie, LA before going to Newark where it was exported to Libya??? Weird...

what's a LC without a clunk! ;) Great info on here guys , especially the TSBs... I'm also looking for 2008-2010. There are some out there in the mid $30s with 70K or so on them on them and some for as high as $42K...pricing is so varied its amazing

I say you did pretty good.

I just bought my 2011 Green / Tan LC for $47,500 with 70k miles.

What is the TSB issue for the left mirror? Any chance it fixes the whistle noise I have?
 
Congrats on the Green! I looked high and low for one that color. Seem to be rare as chicken teeth......

Sklime, your Toyota dealer will know about it if you call the parts department. I picked up the new bolts for both mirrors the other week. It cost me about $9 a side.

Not sure what whistle noise you have - but I had an annoying whistling noise on my LX at highway speeds. Since I had just purchased my truck Lexus certified, the dealership tore into it to find the noise. They never gave me the details of the actual solution, but said it had nothing to do with the windscreen/mirrors. I confirmed that, as drove with duct tape on sections of my windscreen and sunroof and the noise never stopped or changed. The issue was something to do with the front lip of the hood and the trim right below it in the engine bay. They replaced something in there and noise went away - the truck is Lexus-quiet since then.
 
That one has been on the market for about 2 months.
